CHILD SAFETY

Emerald Lakers Basketball Club is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all children and young people.

We take our responsibility seriously. Child safety is embedded in how our Club operates, how we support our coaches and volunteers, and how we work with families. These policies set out the standards, expectations and procedures that guide our approach to protecting children and promoting their wellbeing.

All players, coaches, committee members, volunteers and anyone involved in Club activities are expected to understand and follow these requirements.

Child Safe Policy

Outlines Emerald Lakers Basketball Club’s commitment to child safety, the scope of this policy, and how we meet our obligations under Victorian Child Safe Standards.

Code of Conduct

Sets clear expectations for behaviour when working with or around children, including professional boundaries and what is not acceptable.
