Our Club

Our History

It all started with a dream: an idea to have a local community basketball club. At Emerald Lakers Basketball Club, we’ve been supporting community sport for three decades. Established 1989 Emerald Lakers Basketball Club was established for Hill’s kids to enjoy playing basketball locally. Today Emerald Lakers has teams for all ages and abilities including junior programs for young players to enjoy.  Home of the Lakers is at the Emerald Primary School Basketball Stadium operating 5 days a week.

Emerald Lakers Basketball Club has teams for young children through to senior level.  Our teams compete every weekend through the Knox Basketball Association.  The games are played at various venues being: State Basketball Centre

Fairhills High School and various satellite stadiums

With indoor facilities at the Emerald PS Basketball Stadium, our club is the heart of the community for junior basketball, tournaments, and competitions.
